EPS camp instruction carries over to the field

EPS member and current Chattahoochee County QB David Cochran has made quite an impression since transferring from Southland Academy at the start of the season.

The junior signal caller recently led "Chattco" to a big 42-20 win over previously ranked #5 Brookstone, giving the Panthers a 2-0 record and a spot in the Atlanta Journal Constitution's Top 10 for Class A schools. It is the first time Chattco has ever been ranked, and it was Brookstone's first region loss in 3 years! Cochran completed 13-22 passes for 231 yards and 2 touchdowns, and he also ran for 104 yards.

Cochran attended a number of EPS camps this past summer and improved tremendously with each session. He is a good example of how your stock can improve if you attend camps and work hard.

Just an update on Chattco's record amd my stats thru 6 games. We are 5 ans 1 for the '09 season with 3 BIG games to go. Through 6 games I've thrown 17 TD's. I've completed 97 passes in 160 attempts for 1,592 yds. and 2 Ints. I've also rushed for 4 TDs so far this season. We at Chattco are working hard to host the 1st round of the State Playoffs.

I really got a lot from attending your combines this past summer in Americus. It opened my eyes quite a bit on trying to reach my goal at playing at the college level. Thanks, Erasmus and EPS! By the way , I am a JUNIOR in high school. We are all working hard to try and get Chattco it's 1st region football title and be able to host the 1st round of the State Playoffs.
